The year 2007 began with a small puff. Nothing interesting happened in January, except the volleyball season beginning. This year I made varsity right away, instead of half-way though the season, but due to injuries on the team (including my own sprained ankle) held our team back, and we couldn’t make league champs again. Moving on through the year, I went to Mexico with my church for a week, just like last year. In early April I got my drivers license. Then the school year ended, and I found that I had successfully gotten a D in algebra 2, but not to worry, because I had already signed up for a summer course at a nearby community college. For six weeks of my summer I was busy getting an A+ four mornings a week, for three hours a day. The summer slipped by with no big events, and I was starting to feel school drawing near again. I prepared myself, and looked forward to beginning my high school upper classman life. Junior year started, and has oozed onward since. Recently I went on the junior class trip to San Francisco and visited Alcatraz and pier 39. But the highlight of the trip without a doubt was the Cirque Du Soleil: Kooza performance. It was unforgettable. And now I’m off to finish the year, so, until next time.
