The year 2005 was a god year for Alex Barbieri. Full of adventure, intrigue, and magic. Actually, there wasn’t any magic. Or intrigue. Or adventure, really. Just me. Lets start with the beginning. Not much happened between January, and march, but during march the Spring musical, Hello Dolly, happened. That was Awesome. I was Cornelius Hackl, the romantic/singing lead. I got to fall in love, get arrested, and learn to dance. I guess there was some adventure sprinkled in there. The plays were just Awesome, and if you didn’t get to see them this year, I strongly encourage that you come see them this year. We are doing The Music Man, and I am Jasey Squires, the tenor in the barbershop quartet. While I’m not the leading role, I have no complaints. Harold Hill is a very hard part to play. Besides, I do get to be in a barbershop quartet, and that is pretty much the height of cool. Anyways, school ended without any problems, and summer quickly slid away. I managed to get a job with Nana, my grandmother, and sustained myself through that. School started, and this year I only have 2 bad teachers. So, no complaints there. I really enjoy Chemistry this year, and I’m thinking that is what I want to do when I’m finally on my own (only 1&1/2 years to go.J).  I got my drivers license in October, and I have my own car.  It’s a mazda 323, and it’s as old as I am! It’s still running fine though, and I’m very happy with it. I stil have to endure a week of school before Christmas break finally comes around, but I think I’ll live. So that’s where I’m at right now. Oh, I almost forgot! I got a job at the jungle! I haven’t gone into work yet, but I will soon. I cant wait to join the workforce!
